The Tax free “Cycle to Work Scheme” is a Government initiative that promotes a healthier lifestyle for employees, whilst at the same time reducing the impact of carbon emission on the environment. This tax free benefit was one in a series of measures introduced under the Governments Green Transport Plan. The scheme encourages employees to cycle to work and allows employers to reap the benefits of a healthier workforce. With thousands of companies signed up to the scheme across the county it is the fastest growing employee benefit in the UK.
